How to automatically update the Stupid Raisins app

Written by Published in User Guide

Want to make sure you’re running the latest version of the Stupid Raisins app? Here’s how to do it without breaking a sweat (or your plugins).

  1. Quit Final Cut Pro.
  2. Open the Stupid Raisins app.
  3. In the macOS menu bar, click Stupid Raisins and choose Check for Updates.
  4. Click Install Update and follow the steps.
  5. When it’s done, restart Final Cut Pro.

To make life easier next time, check the box that says “Automatically download and install future updates” before you hit Install Update. That way, you’ll always stay current without lifting a finger.

When the update finishes, click Install and Relaunch, then check for updates again to confirm you’re on the newest version.

And that’s it! You’re up to date and ready to get back to editing. If you run into any trouble, let me know and happy editing!
