Starting August 30, 2026, the price of Raisin Wrecker and Raisin Hater is going up for new & returning subscribers. If you’re already subscribed, your price will stay the same. This price change is for new & returning subscribers only.
I’m also reorganizing the plugins. Starting August 30, 2026, the following plugins will only be available in Raisin Hater:
This plugin reorganization only applies to new and returning subscribers starting August 30, 2026.
Prices haven’t changed since I launched Stupid Raisins in 2023, and honestly, the subscription’s worth more than it costs today. This isn’t a big company with a team, it’s one person (me, Dylan!) building and supporting everything. Raising prices means I can bring on great animators, designers and editors to build more ambitious tools, and keep up with a support load that’s grown a lot since launch.
These are premium, more advanced tools built for serious editors, the kind of person who wants a fuller toolkit. Grouping them under Hater lets me keep investing in that level of tool, instead of spreading it thin across every plan. If you’re already subscribed to Wrecker, this doesn’t take anything away from you. You keep access to everything you already had. This only affects what’s included for new Wrecker subscribers going forward.
No. You keep your current plan, current plugins access and your current price. Nothing changes for you automatically, and there’s no deadline to act.
Raisin Wrecker will be $19/month (was $9.99) or $179/year (was $99). Raisin Hater will be $29/month (was $19.99) or $279/year (was $199). Yearly plans are priced at roughly 20% off the monthly rate.
This applies to new & returning subscribers only starting Aug 30.
Subscribe before Aug 30 and you’re locked in at today’s rate for as long as you stay subscribed. Nothing special to do, just get in before the date.
You’d come back at the current pricing at that time, not your old rate. If you’re dealing with a temporary situation, reach out to support first, there may be a better option depending on your circumstances.
Raisin Wrecker stays your everyday Final Cut Pro toolkit. Raisin Hater is built for editors who want everything handled, including advanced tools like captions, explainer and whiteboard video tools, callouts and more. Raisin Hater exclusive plugins are Caption Pop AI, Slice Pop, Callout Pop, Story Pop, News Pop, Motion Pop and Puppet Pop.
Yes. You keep access to what you already have. This isn’t going away.
Starting August 30, 2026, you’ll pay the new Raisin Hater price. Grandfathering keeps your existing plan at your existing price, it doesn’t apply to a plan you’re moving into for the first time.
Starting August 30, 2026, you’ll pay the new Raisin Wrecker price, regardless of whether you’ve held a Raisin Wrecker plan before. Grandfathering only protects a plan you’re currently on, it doesn’t carry over if you leave and come back to a plan later.
You’ll keep your grandfathered rate either way. Since you’re staying on the same plan and only changing how often you’re billed, your existing pricing carries over to the new billing cycle.
