A plugin is a title, transition or effect template built in Apple Motion and published for Final Cut Pro and is available to Raisin Wrecker & Hater subscribers.

An extension is a special tool accessed through the Extension menu in Final Cut Pro. An extension requires more time and resources to create and maintain and is available only to Raisin Hater subscribers.
